Rotate PDF — questions

Can I rotate only some pages?

Yes. Enter specific page numbers in the selector (e.g. 3, 5, 7-9) to rotate only those pages. Other pages are left in their original orientation.

Is the file uploaded during rotation?

No. Rotation runs entirely in your browser. Open DevTools → Network tab while rotating — zero upload requests.

Will rotating reduce quality?

No. Rotation just changes the orientation metadata of the page. The content is not re-rendered. Text, images, and formatting stay identical.

What if I rotate a page the wrong direction?

Click rotate again — each click rotates the page another 90°. You can rotate 4 times total to get back to the original orientation. Or undo the operation if you haven’t saved yet.

Can I rotate a password-protected PDF?

Yes. You’ll be prompted for the password before rotation. The output file is saved without the password.

Will rotating affect page numbers if I add them later?

No. Page numbers are calculated based on the page order in the file, not the visual orientation. A landscape page is still page 4, etc.
